Health Net and Chamber Insurance Trust Enter Exclusive Partnership to Offer Medicare Health Plans to the Chamber’s Retirees

Shelton, Conn., November 9, 2006 – Health Net of the Northeast, a subsidiary of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT), today unveiled an exclusive partnership with Chamber Insurance Trust. The partnership will enable approximately 35,000 local businesses and 77 working Chambers of Commerce throughout Connecticut to offer their retirees a choice of quality, comprehensive and affordable health plans through Health Net.
